# The City of Tshwane says it has been notified by Magalies Water of a planned water supply shutdown to the Babelegi Reservoir distribution areas of Hammanskraal on Thursday. This is to allow the conditional assessment of a strainer valve inside the Babelegi pump station to determine the need for refurbishment or complete replacement. The metro’s spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo, says the shutdown will last six hours from 7am until 1pm:
