# Cosatu says it is encouraged by additional funding to help rebuild frontline public services crippled by years of, what it calls, reckless neo-liberal austerity budget cuts. Cosatu’s spokesperson, Matthew Parks says the National Treasury has allocated 29-billion-rand for education and 28.9-billion-rand for health. He says this will help in filling key frontline vacancies including one-thousand-800 doctors, and rolling out of Grade R as per the Basic Education Laws Amendment Act:
