# The City of Tshwane has established ward committees in all 107 wards to enhance community participation in local governance. These committees are expected to meet quarterly, providing residents a platform to influence decisions on service delivery and development. Council speaker Mncedi Ndzwanana emphasised the ward committees’ role in promoting inclusivity and transparency. Ward 60 committee member Bishop Ike Mabena highlighted the need for training to support these newly formed committees.
