Drunk driving arrests doubled over the weekend in Cape Town [SOUND]

# The City of Cape Town says a complete disregard for safety, the rule of law, and consideration for others have become synonymous with a payday weekend. Traffic officers made 39 arrests of which 30 were for driving under the influence over the past weekend. The Public Emergency Communication Centre recorded 147 assault incidents, a more than 90-percent increase from the previous weekend.
