# Tshwane District Police Commissioner, Samuel Thine, says disruptive police crime operations will continue across the metro, as part of ongoing efforts to combat crime and enhance public safety. Over the weekend, a total of 351 suspects were arrested for various offences in Ekangala and Bronkhorstspruit during Operation Shanela. Police spokesperson, Johan van Dyk says the suspects were arrested for crimes ranging from murder, rape, assault and armed robbery:
