Justice minister tackles court disruptions caused by load-shedding and water outages [SOUND]

# Justice and Constitutional Development minister Mmamoloko Kubayi has outlined urgent steps to address major disruptions in courts caused by load-shedding, water outages, and infrastructure failures. Kubayi confirmed in a Parliamentary reply that 153 courts now have backup power, with more installations underway. Efforts are also underway to provide water tanks and boreholes to courts facing shortages. Ministry spokesperson Terrence Manase says Eskom has been requested to exempt courts from load-shedding to maintain uninterrupted services:
