# The SOS Support Public Broadcasting Coalition welcomes the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights’ plan to develop a new policy for universal access to public service content in the digital age. This comes in response to the growing challenges faced by traditional broadcasters competing with unregulated digital platforms. The coalition’s Uyanda Siyotula supports the development of guidelines to ensure ethical, independent, and accessible public service content across Africa.
