# Teachers’ union SADTU in the Free State has condemned the stabbing of a teacher by a learner at Kgabareng Secondary School in Viljoenskroon. Yesterday, a 21-year-old grade ten learner attacked the teacher after being reprimanded for arriving late. The teacher has since been discharged from the hospital, while the learner will appear in court tomorrow. SADTU provincial secretary Mokholoane Moloi calls for the harshest punishment for the learner and better school safety.
