# The DA in Gauteng says environmental experts have confirmed that building on the Cullinan Heritage site will endanger environmental preservation and jeopardise the cultural heritage. This as the provincial government has decided to relocate the 2022 Mamelodi flood victims to the site. The DA’s, Leanne de Jager, says environmental experts have highlighted that there could be several threatened species of plants, animals, and fungi in this area that are on the International Union for the Conservation of Nature Red List:
