# Human Settlements minister Thembi Simelane and Gauteng Human Settlement MEC, Tasneem Motara, will hand over the Grand Central Social Housing project in Midrand today. The completed development features 990 rental units, offering quality housing near jobs, transport, and social amenities. This comes as South Africa aims to deliver 15-thousand social housing units in five years. Targeting low-income earners, the project supports urban restructuring and sustainable settlements.
