# The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs has confirmed the recovery of five bodies following severe flooding in Lamontville, in eThekwini. Disaster Management teams retrieved the remains of two adult males and three children who were swept away into a canal during heavy rainfall earlier this morning.
