# The Siyafana Sonke Action Campaign has welcomed the urgent interim interdict secured by acting minister of Police Firoz Cachalia against the March and March Movement in Durban. This is to halt unauthorised demonstrations, property destruction, and civil unrest across the eThekwini Municipality. Today the Durban High Court will decide whether to make the interdict final. The Siyafana Sonke Action Campaign says the legal action affirms the country’s Constitution, as March and March have relentlessly targeted vulnerable, documented refugees who have already suffered displacement.
