# The High Court in Polokwane, Limpopo, dismissed the bail appeal application of suspended Tshwane Metro Police official Peter “Gagash” Nonyane and his wife, attorney Charlotte Tibana, leaving them in custody until 6 November. Judge Karin Leanne Pillay found they failed to show compelling reasons for release and could interfere with witnesses. They face 123 charges including fraud, theft and money laundering for allegedly looting deceased estates administered by Tibana Attorneys. The state also alleges 1.65-million-rand was used to buy a luxury car.
