# The Department of Employment and Labour is holding work-seeker registration activities in Soweto, Gauteng, this week. The drive takes place today at Uncle Tom’s Hall and tomorrow at Bapedi Hall. Department spokesperson Teboho Thejane says they aim to encourage unemployed people and those seeking alternative employment to register on its Public Employment Services system and update their qualifications and contact details. He says Unemployment Insurance Fund, Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act and labour inspection services will also be available.
