# The ANC Women’s League condemns the fatal shooting of three female managers at a Boxer store in Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday. Police say a fellow employee, summoned for a disciplinary hearing, was dismissed that morning and called for a meeting with the managers who he then allegedly shot. The suspect then fled the scene. The ANCWL says the incident, two weeks after the President’s address on femicide, shows the brutality against women. They call for a referendum on the death penalty and urged police to hunt the killer down.
