Western Cape Mobility urges operators to nominate candidates for the E-hailing and Metered Taxi Council [SOUND]

# The Western Cape Mobility Department is calling on all valid e-hailing and metered taxi operating licence holders to nominate candidates in the first election of the new E-Hailing and Metered Taxi Council. The council will, amongst other things, represent the interests of valid operating licence holders, create an accountable governance structure through elected leadership and strengthen communication and collaboration across the sector. The department spokesperson, Muneera Allie, says nominations are open until next Thursday:
