SACP calls for support for learners and NSFAS readiness as matrics exams start

# The SACP says universities and Technical and Vocational Education and Training colleges must be ready to absorb the class of 2026 as a record 962-thousand-832 candidates begin matric examinations. The party says the focus should not only be on writing exams, but on ensuring qualifying learners can access post-school opportunities. They call on higher learning institutions to prepare admissions in earnest and on NSFAS leadership to stand ready to process funding for both university and TVET college students.
