# The Western Cape Department of Infrastructure says repairs to 60 kilometres of roads near Worcester are complete. The 262-million-rand project included repairs to the R60, R43 and Nuy Vallei Road, as well as flood-damaged roads and bridges. A two-kilometre section of Nuy Vallei Road was upgraded from gravel to a surfaced road. The project also created 355 work opportunities, while 16 local businesses and eight emerging contractors benefited. Final work on the project is expected to be completed today.
