# Tshwane District police arrested 324 suspects for various criminal offences during an Operation Shanela crackdown in Eersterust and Villieria over the weekend. The suspects were apprehended for crimes including murder, attempted murder, armed robbery and gender-based violence-related offences. Police spokesperson Johan van Dyk says a further 35 undocumented foreign nationals were detained and handed over to immigration officials:
