Motorsport: George Russell won the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix in a chaotic, crash-filled race at the Baku City Circuit yesterday. Converting his pole position into a victory, the Mercedes driver narrowly held off a late-charging Max Verstappen by a mere tenth of a second. Red Bull’s Isack Hadjar came in third, marking a double podium for Red Bull. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc finished fourth. Championship leader Kimi Antonelli started in 16th position but managed to recover, finishing 5th. Defending world champion Lando Norris crashed out after being caught up in a collision.
