Gauteng Health concerned over low contraceptive uptake [SOUND]

# The Gauteng Department of Health says low contraceptive use continues to contribute to unintended pregnancies in the province. Between April and June this year, only 32-percent of eligible women accessed contraceptive services, below the 43-percent target. The department’s Steve Mabona says misconceptions about side effects and infertility are among the barriers to contraceptive use.
