# Freedom Under Law has welcomed retired Supreme Court of Appeal Judge Trevor Gorven to its Board. He served on the Supreme Court of Appeal from 2021 until his retirement in April 2024 and is known for judgments involving public accountability, administrative justice, access to information and the exercise of public power. The organisation says Gorven brings decades of experience in legal practice and the judiciary, as well as work in legal education and civil society.
