SADTU supports COSATU’s decision to adjourn its national congress to protect unity [SOUND]

# The South African Democratic Teachers’ Union says it fully supports the decision to adjourn the Congress of South African Trade Unions’ 15th National Congress. This follows a dispute over the status of first deputy president Mike Shingange contributed to the federation failing to reach a quorum, as affiliate unions and delegates withheld their credentials. SADTU’s spokesperson Nomusa Cembi says the strength of the labour movement lies in the unity and collective power of workers advancing their common interests:
