City of Cape Town loses R75-million to electricity infrastructure vandalism [SOUND]

# The City of Cape Town says it spent about 75-million-rand repairing and replacing electricity infrastructure damaged by theft and vandalism during the 2025/2026 financial year. Mayoral committee member for Energy Xanthea Limberg says the money could have upgraded and expanded the electricity network.
