# The Gauteng Department of Health says the Accident and Emergency Unit at Far East Rand Hospital is undergoing renovations. The four-month project began this month and is expected to be completed by December. Department spokesperson Steve Mabona says all emergency services have been temporarily relocated within the hospital to ensure uninterrupted patient care. He says services including the Out-Patients Department and the Female Orthopaedic Ward have been moved to other clinical areas:
