# The City of Cape Town says road users are complying with the new heavy vehicle lane and compulsory stop on Kloof Nek Road. The City’s Transport Network Development team analysed AI camera footage from July and August with 83-percent of heavy vehicles using the correct lane. Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Rob Quintas, says the figures provide a clear indication that the measures are improving compliance and road safety:
