Gauteng communities urged to access early physiotherapy services to prevent disability [SOUND]

# The Gauteng Department of Health is encouraging communities to make use of physiotherapy services available across public health facilities. This is part of efforts to prevent disability, promote recovery and improve health outcomes. The department’s spokesperson, Steve Mabona, says physiotherapy services are provided to individuals recovering from strokes, fractures, amputations, surgery, spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries, as well as people living with chronic health conditions and children with developmental delays and disabilities:
