# The Eastern Cape police arrested a 52-year-old suspect and recovered eleven firearms, hours after they were stolen from a private security company in Newton Park, Gqeberha, yesterday. Nine shotguns, two rifles, three battle jackets and a bakkie belonging to the security company were recovered. Police spokesperson Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the suspect will appear in the Gqeberha Magistrate’s Court later this week, facing charges of unlawful possession of firearms and possession of suspected stolen property:
