# The Western Cape police are urging members of the public to surrender firearms of deceased persons. This follows the arrest of two teenagers for possession of an unlicensed firearm at a high school in Hermes Avenue, Atlantis. Police spokesperson, Ndakhe Gwala, says these unsecured firearms contribute to the most heinous crimes committed in society:
