Tshwane police arrested 343 suspects during a multidisciplinary crime prevention operation in Lyttelton yesterday. The suspects were apprehended for various criminal charges, including murder, attempted murder, rape, armed robbery and assault. Police spokesperson Johan van Dyk says compliance inspections were also conducted, focusing on immigration and business-related matters. He says 50 illegal immigrants were detained and handed over to immigration officials for further processing:
