# The City of Tshwane’s Energy and Electricity Business Unit and Eskom are implementing an urgent power supply interruption in parts of Soshanguve today until 2pm. Eskom and the City are conduct critical testing at the upgraded Buffel Infeed Substation. The metro spokesperson, Lindela Mabona says the work is including testing high-voltage switchgear, maintaining existing equipment and verifying the performance of the upgraded infrastructure, protection systems and control functions before the substation is switched on:
