# The MK Party Women’s League says it condemns the continued persecution, public humiliation and apparent targeting of former Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane. She appeared before the Pretoria Regional Court yesterday in connection with a criminal case stemming from allegations relating to her handling of the controversial Absa/Bankorp matter during her tenure as Public Protector. The MK Party Women’s League says that while the process of accountability must be respected, justice must never be selective, vindictive or used as a weapon against those who fall out of favour with powerful forces.
