Burke faces serious investigations over allegations that fintech company Kastelo moved four-billion-rand overseas and breached exchange control regulations.

Reports the ANC Youth League is furious about the poor management of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme. The league demands accountability and not that the problem be handled only administratively.

And secondly, the website writes a nurse at the King Dinuzulu Hospital in Durban has been suspended after a video on social media showed her assaulting a patient.

Writes suspended MP Fadiel Adams has distanced himself from the investigation by the Anti-Corruption Investigation Directorate into senior crime intelligence officials. He told the Madlanga Commission that he was simply a complainant who provided information in good faith and relied on IDAC officials to decide whether it warranted further investigation.

The president argued in a letter to the committee that Madonsela may have a conflict of interest because he previously advised the ANC on the Phala Phala issue.
