# The Freedom Front Plus is calling on Western Cape MEC for Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning, Anton Bredell, to urgently approach the High Court with an application. This is to review and set aside the Knysna municipal Council’s unlawful decision to extend Manqoba Ngubo’s appointment as acting Municipal Manager by a further three months. The FF Plus says Ngubo was initially appointed as acting Municipal Manager in April this year for a period of three months or until the matter of the suspension of the permanent Municipal Manager, Lulamile Mapholoba, has been finalised.
