# The Justice and Constitutional Development Ministry has introduced a bill to repeal the apartheid-era Riotous Assemblies Act and replace it with new legislation dealing with conspiracy, instigation and incitement to commit serious offences. Briefing the media, minister Mmamoloko Kubayi said the changes will bring the law in line with the Constitution and a Constitutional Court ruling, while ensuring that people who encourage or conspire to commit serious crimes can still be prosecuted:
