Gauteng records 29% increase in cervical cancer screening [SOUND]

# The Gauteng Department of Health says cervical cancer screening increased by 29-percent during the 2025/26 financial year. More than 198-thousand women were screened, up from 153-thousand the previous year. Gauteng Health MEC Faith Mazibuko says screening empowers women to take charge of their health.
