Around 60,000 evacuated due to fires in Spokane, Washington

# Around 60-thousand people have been ordered to evacuate as ​wildfires threaten the city of Spokane ‌in Washington state, in the United States. Local officials said the fires in the region had destroyed 600 ​buildings, including homes and businesses. The fires had burned ​close to two-thousand-200-hectares by yesterday. Spokane ‌Mayor ⁠Lisa Brown called it the worst natural disaster the region had faced. Officials said fortunately no injuries or deaths had ​been reported. Meanwhile firefighters are battling multiple wildfires in Greece as Europe faced its worst spate of fires in recent memories.
