# Minister of Home Affairs, Leon Schreiber, says his department has extended operating hours at all offices across the country this voter registration weekend. All offices will be open from 8am to 5pm to ensure that eligible citizens can access the services they need to register to vote. More than 360-thousand identity documents are currently awaiting collection at Home Affairs offices nationwide. Schreiber urged citizens whose documents are ready to collect them, including those who still need a Smart ID card to visit their nearest Home Affairs office during the extended operating hours.

Nel provided an update on the Angola phase of the South Africa Exile Repatriation Project in Pretoria yesterday. The strikes came two days after a suspected Russian cruise missile landed in Poland during a large attack on Ukraine. The attack on Thursday killed nine people, including six members of one family in a village near Kryvyi Rih.
