# Afrika Mayibuye Movement has welcomed the resignation of Investigating Directorate Against Corruption head, Advocate Andrea Johnson. President Cyril Ramaphosa has accepted her request to vacate office under the National Prosecuting Authority Act. The movement’s spokesperson, Sydney Baloyi, says Johnson’s resignation is the inevitable consequence of a tenure defined by gross misconduct, abuse of power, and a reckless disregard for the lives and careers of innocent South Africans:
