# The George Municipality’s Credit Control Section is conducting an Indigent Registration Drive in rural areas and farming communities until the 7th of August. The municipality’s spokesperson, Chantel Edwards-Klose, says the purpose of the drive is to inform residents about the municipality’s approved Indigent Policy and Credit Control Policy, explain the qualifying criteria and registration requirements for indigent support. She says eligible households with indigent applications and related enquiries will also be assisted:
