# The DA in the Western Cape says it is concerned by the 17-percent learner’s licence pass rate recorded under the new Computerised Learner Licence Testing system during the 2025/2026 financial year. The system selects randomised questions from a database of around one-thousand-200 questions. The DA’s Nomafrench Mbombo says the party supports reforms that improve road safety and reduce opportunities for fraud, but these changes must be accompanied by effective public education:
