# The City of Tshwane has welcomed the Labour Court ruling, granting it the green light to subject five employees implicated in the irregular awarding of the Rooiwal tender to a new disciplinary hearing. The officials, including group head for Water and Sanitation, Stevens Notoane, are accused of aiding Blackhead, a company owned by ANC funder Edwin Sodi, to get the 291-million-rand tender in 2019. The metro’s spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo, says the judgment has vindicated Tshwane’s dogged pursuit to bring new charges against the officials:
