# Minister of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities minister, Sindisiwe Chikunga, has rejected allegations that she influenced or facilitated employment opportunities for members of her family within the public service. Allegations contained in a whistleblower complaint submitted to the Public Service Commission claim the minister and her deputy, Steve Letsike, filled posts in the department and their private offices with friends and family. The department’s spokesperson, Cassius Selala, says all appointments are conducted transparently, fairly, and on merit:
