# Rugby: French club Béziers is mourning the death of South African rugby player Luqobo “Bibo” Makwedini, who died after collapsing during training. French media and club reports attribute his death to a suspected cardiac arrest. The 20-year-old, a former South Africa Under-18 representative and Wynberg Boys’ High School learner, had recently joined the club’s academy in the south of France.
