# Tshwane District Police Commissioner, Samuel Thine, says sustained collaboration between law enforcement agencies and community structures remains essential in the ongoing fight against crime and in ensuring safer communities. A multidisciplinary crime prevention operation conducted in Ga-Rankuwa and Mabopane led to the arrest of 345 suspects for various criminal offences, including murder and armed robbery. Police spokesperson, Johan van Dyk, says compliance inspections also focused on immigration and business-related matters, which resulted in the detention of 53 illegal immigrants:
