He was accused by a witness of interfering in the investigation into a 715-kilogram cocaine theft. Reports the 2026/27 budget of 21.6-billion-rand for the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro Council has finally been approved. The paper writes this follows a heated council debate on service delivery, financial management, and tariff increases. A total of 61 councillors were in favour and 43 against.
