# The Tshwane Metro Police Department arrested 48 people for driving under the influence of alcohol in Soshanguve and Centurion over the weekend. During the operation, a total of 108 Aarto infringement fines were issued for various traffic offences. TMPD says it is adamant in reducing reckless and negligent loss of lives caused by drunk driving. It adds that road safety is everyone’s responsibility.
