Undefeated France is top of the log with 15 points before the final two rounds. Scotland is second on 11 points and Ireland third on nine. England is fourth, Italy fifth and Wales on the bottom of the log as usual.
# Soccer: Minister of Sports Gayton McKenzie declared South Africa ready to host the postponed Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in July, saying the country has the necessary stadiums. African governing body CAF confirmed the postponement after Morocco reportedly wanted out of hosting the tournament, which was scheduled to start on the 17th of this month. McKenzie says if Morocco isn’t willing to proceed, South Africa is ready with all the necessary infrastructure. Bafana Bafana was drawn in Group B alongside Burkina Faso, Tanzania and Ivory Coast.

# And motorsport: Reigning Formula One world champion Lando Norris is hungry for more success, with the season’s first Grand Prix taking place in Melbourne, Australia, this weekend. McLaren’s 26-year-old British driver says clinching the championship last season didn’t change his work ethic or his desire to be the best. Norris won last year’s Australian Grand Prix after starting in pole position. The team isn’t too impressed with their cars’ off-season performance this year, with principal Andrea Stella believing they are a step behind Ferrari and Mercedes.
