Investors had already been speculating about how the Fed would position itself as Donald Trump prepares to take office amid warnings that his plans to cut taxes, slash regulations and impose tariffs on China could reignite inflation.
# Cricket: India will play its matches in next year’s Champions Trophy tournament at neutral venues in accordance with an agreement the International Cricket Council reached with the country and the hosts, Pakistan. India wasn’t prepated to visit its longtime political arch-enemy. In return, Pakistan won’t visit India for ICC events until 2027, but those matches will also be played at neutral fields. The Champions Cup, featuring the host and the seven highest-ranked teams from last year’s 50-over World Cup, starts on the 19th of February.
