# The DA has hailed the Johannesburg High Court ruling dismissing the ANC’s appeal in the cadre deployment corruption case. DA national spokesperson Willie Aucamp emphasised that Judge Brad Wanless reaffirmed the ANC’s failure to comply with a prior court order to release documents related to cadre deployment. The court dismissed the ANC’s appeal, citing lack of new evidence, and ordered the party to pay legal costs. Aucamp says this marks a victory for accountability in combating corruption:

The Boks play Scotland at Murrayfield on 10 November, England at Twickenham on the 16th and Wales in Cardiff on the 23rd. Erasmus says they want to end the tour undefeated.
# And, president Cyril Ramaphosa has extended his warm wishes to South Africa’s Jewish community as they observe the High Holy Days, which began with Rosh Hashanah and conclude with Yom Kippur. He acknowledged the community’s important role in the nation’s spiritual and cultural diversity. Presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya says Ramaphosa has emphasised themes of reconciliation, family, peace, kindness and prayer during this sacred period:
